Arm stretches are important for the flexibility and range of motion of the upper arm and forearm muscles. Good arm flexibility allows for the unrestricted and pain free movement of both the upper arm and forearm.

Assisted Triceps Stretch
Stand with your hand behind your neck and your elbow pointing upwards. Then use your other hand (or a rope or towel) to pull your elbow down. Don't perform this stretch for an extended period of time as circulation is restricted in the shoulder during this stretch. Hold the stretch position for a minimum of 20 seconds and then repeat with the opposite arm.
Palms-out Forearm Stretch
Interlock your fingers in front of your chest and then straighten your arms and turn the palms of your hands outwards. The forearms, wrists and fingers comprise a multitude of small muscles, tendons and ligaments. Do not over stretch this area by applying too much force too quickly. Hold the stretch position for a minimum of 20 seconds.
