Brad Walker is an internationally recognized stretching and sports injury consultant with 20 years of practical experience in the health and fitness industry. Brad is a Health Science graduate of the University of New England and has postgraduate accreditations in athletics, swimming and triathlon coaching. He also works with elite level and world champion athletes and lectures for Sports Medicine Australia on injury prevention.

Brad is the founder of Walkerbout Health and owner of The Stretching Institute™. Brad developed The Stretching Institute range of products in response to a steadily increasing occurrence of sport related injury. Brad now works full time developing educational products, such as books, videos, DVD's, software, newsletters and e-books that specialize in injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Family & Recreation
Born in 1971, Brad Walker grew up in Sydney, Australia, and moved to the Gold Coast in 1992 after completing his tertiary education at the University of New England.

Brad started his athletic career in high school, running cross country and track, and competing as a distance swimmer. In 1986 Brad completed his first triathlon and then went on to be ranked third in Australia as a junior competitor over the half Iron Man distance (2.2km swim, 80km bike and 20km run). From 1991 to 1994, Brad competed as a full time, professional triathlete.

Brad met his future wife, Jenny in 1992 and was later married in 1995. Brad and Jenny live on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia and are the proud parents of two boys; Ethan, born May 2003, and Seth, born November 2005.
