The Stretching Institute™
...was originally established as Walkerbout Health in 1995 in response to a steadily increasing occurrence of sport related injury. Over the years the company has moved from providing fitness and sports coaching services that specialize in injury prevention and rehabilitation, to now providing the same services via the publication of educational products, such as books, videos, DVD's, software, newsletters and e-books.

When formed in 1995 all the space that was needed was a cardboard box and a kitchen table; today we work out of a custom built office and warehouse facility. We employ 5 people and outsource a number of key business activites to a range of professionals.

Below is our company vision and mission statement.

Vision...
Elevate the importance of stretching and flexibility training to the same status as fitness and strength training.

Mission...
Help people improve their health, fitness, physical well-being and sporting performance through improved flexibility.

Our customers are important to us, and results from our customer satisfaction questionnaire show that from 330 reviews, over 96% of our customers said we provide "Excellent" or "Good" customer service and over 78% said we provide "Excellent" or "Good" value for money.
